I recently upgraded from a PC card 5740 to the USB720 and I now am able to use The EVDO in my Gateway laptop running XP Professional, in my HP desktop running Vista Home Premium, and in my Apple Macintosh G3 laptop running OS X 10.4.10. I use the Gateway for my personal buswiness, the Apple laptop for general web surfing(it boots faster) and the HP when I am home.Ihave used the 5740 all aver the country with mixed results, but ZI like the ability to use the 720 in any computer as I need it.
