I have signed up for Verizon EVDO rev A and get a good signal after I purchased a Wilson Antenna from 3gstore. I have a concern using this system. I know Verizon has implemented a FAP (Fair Access Policy) in Nov 2007 with a 5GB limit, then they throttle you down. Does anyone know how long they throttle you down to 200kbps for, days?weeks? months?forever?. The local store doesn't even know what I'm talking about. I don't expect to really violate this, but if I do, then what?? Any ideas..
Thanks
Buc

bucrepus, I have the PC5750 and the Linksys WRT54G3G-ST wireless router. On my network I am running my wife's desktop, my desktop & my laptop. She is online some of the time(email & some shopping). I am online all the time and my usage is maybe 1.5 to 2.0 GB per month. Now, I don't d/l movies or videos like I used to with Comcast, but that seems to be my normal usage per month.

You can check usage by going online to check your bill or go to your VZ Access Manager. If you get close to the 5 GB, just cut back.

Same type of usage here, plus throw in some X-Box Live Halo or COD4 and my highest usage since April has been 3.2GB.

I came from my Wildblue and people over there were exceeding a 17GB/month FAP limit...just couldn't figure that one out:))
