OK Signal but slow speeds?

I am getting 6 to 8 bars on my KR1 firmware 106 with KCP650, and a 4" external antenna from verizon.
I average about 250 - 600 down and about 110 Upload.
what antenna / card upgrade or both should I do?

I recived my USB720 and ordered the Omni from 3gstore, put the antenna on a 4 ft pole and monted to one of my roof vents.
I have an RSSI -66 averaging 200-400 at the most Download and average 350Upload.
Sometimes it goes way down to 100k down???
When I drive like 6-7 miles closer to the tower and can get 1.4Mbps Down and 350K Upload.
Will an Amp get my speeds back up at home?

Strange that you only receive those speeds at -66 dB, thats a pretty good signal! Since you are able to get much better speeds just down the road, I would expect that a 3 watt EVDO amplifier would give you better speeds.
