kr1 vs. Ad-hoc

Is there a speed advantage to using kr1 router with kpc650 vs. using the kpc650 in my laptop and setting up an ad hoc between two laptops with integrated wifi?

if the kr1 will behave and stay working, use it. Keeping ad-hoc going would be a headache plus it;s a low powered signalm I think .

If the KR1 will work, you'll be less frustrated in my opinion. Keep in mind, I'm not a KR1 fan, I just a in the closet owner of one. But i'm less a fan of adhoc.
