The XV6600 has a 320x240 pixel screen.
Several handhelds have 640x480 (i.e. VGA) screens, making most web pages fit normally. These include some models of Dell Axims, HP iPaqs, Sharp Zauruses (import only), Asus MyPals, and Fujitsu Loox.
There are pcmcia adapters for cf slots, which might work with an ev-do pcmcia card (but I'd certainly test it first!), and enable these to use EV-DO.
Some larger-than-pocket sized handhelds have even larger screens, including the OQO and imports of Sony VGN-Uxx, NTTDoCoMo Sigmarion, Samsung Nexio, and the (not yet released) Vulcan Flipstart. Many of these products run full Windows XP, not Mobile, and have PCMCIA slots, so you could definitely use them with an EV-DO pcmcia card. |
