If I use Verizon wireless broadband service, do they provide email addresses with the account or do you need to use hotmail etc....

no email address provided by verizon. we typically recommend gmail/yahoo.

No email address provided by Sprint for an EVDO account. Just get a free email service like hotmail, Gmail, or yahoo. Then if you change to a different ISP you never have to change your email address again.

Actually, Sprint does provide an email address. Usually xxxxx@sprintpcs.com . I use my account for SMTP access for outgoing mail. Works better than trying to use my email provider for outgoing. I'm thinking of routing my incoming email via the account as well to get better download performance.

You can setup your email account via the Sprint web site. A search on this site will bring up a few threads with the info.

Of course, a Yahoo or Google account would work well too.
