Thanks for the tip.... What a idiot I feel... Yes, the CD did come with the package and it does have 1.7.3... should have check that first.
Will do the upgrade and try again.
For the time being, I am actually doing a Linksys WRT-54GL with dd-wrt, setup to use Client-Bridge to bridge my wired machines over to the CTR-350.... it actually works great.
Thanks again. |

I just ordered EVDO service through Verizon and should receive my UM150 modem in day or so. I'm very interested in purchasing the Cradlepoint CTR-350 so I can enable broadband throughout my home network. I have one of the new wireless N routers already setup in my house (the Linksys WPC300N) and wanted to know if that will work in conjunction with the CTR-350 (I would prefer to use the wireless N speed on the Linksys).
I know with the new firmware that you were discussing in this forum post allows the CTR-350 to connect to a LAN (which I hope would be my Linksys wireless N), but will the CTR-350 allow me to disable it's own DHCP so that the Linksys will be the one assigning IP addresses? I think that would be the way to get broadband going on my network and STILL be able to use the wireless N speed.
Please email me to let me know. Hope to do business with you soon. |

Okay I could go through and read the whole forum........or I can just ask.
With the the firmware to activate the ethernet port, can I use it to plug in my desk top machine to the ethernet port for local connection....and will it still transmit a wifi signal while this is going on as well? I guess what I am asking is, will it do the ethernet connection and the wifi connection at the same time? |

as i mentioned earlier, for home use go with the MBR1000 simply because it offers the most wifi range.
when you call 3gstore at 866-347-8673 talk to sales at ext. 1 and ask for me if you want. if i'm available, they'll ping me to take the call. _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas/Routers/Amps :: Verizon EVDO :: Sprint EVDO :: Why Buy from 3Gstore? |

Hi all. I just received my CTR350, installed the new firmware and am cooking. Problem is (and I've read this forum from stem to stern) I can't get my LINKSYS WRT54GS Router to work with the LAN port. I really don't think the CTR is the problem, as I've connected a computer directly to the LAN port and gotten on the web. I think the LINKSYS is the problem. Here are the relevant settings:
Internet Connection Type: PPoE (username and password??)
I made the router's IP address fall into the CTR's range.
Under "Advanced Routing", I have the Operating Mode as 'Gateway'
When I try to connect using PPoE, I get an error that says the LINKSYS cannot obtain an IP address.
What am I doing wrong??? Thanks! |

| I did, but I don't think the problem is in the CTR350. I think Linksys is having some PPoE probs. I'm scouring the Linksys forums too. So far, no help and its not working! |
