Sprint USB720 falls asleep

I recently purchased USB720 to use with my DIR-450.
Firmware 145 PRL 60610
Primary HA 68.28.249.76 Secondary 68.28.81.76
Have used at St. Pete, Mayport, and currently St. Augustine, Floridia
Problem is when card is idle it stops transfering data. Still connected and good signal. Some times one disconnect and reconnect will fix problem.
Other times take numerous tries. Even when moved from router to laptop.
Never had problem with S620, just wanted Rev A.
Any Suggestions?

Are you using a Y-Cable, as this card likes 700ma.
Single usb port only supplies 500ma.

I recommend you leave a continual ping running (Click Start > Run > ping google.com -t) to see if that helps. Our modem does the same thing and leaving a ping running seems to help.
