I'm using a Verizon KPC650 aircard in a Dlink DIR450 router with Verizon as my provider. I was using the KR1 but trashed it because of the drop-out issue, plus I could never connect to Verizon EVDO with that either. My problem stems from being able to connect to National Access only and not Verizon EVDO. In using the Verizon Management Software, is there a way to "force" the connection to WWAN/1xEVDO, as the only options presented on the Connectivity Options Page are Serial Port, USB Port and PC Card, which won't allow an EVDO only connection through my DIR450 modem. When the aircard is used in my laptop I connect to Verizon EVDO almost immediately with acceptable speeds. I'm certainly not well versed in this technology so perhaps I'm overlooking something obvious. Thank you for any advice you might offer.
