Success - Junxion Box (gen 1) w/ EX720 & XCA-3 adapter

I know not a lot of people on this forum use it but for those that do and are considering a modem upgrade, I am able to report the following:

I am able to use the my first generation Junxion Box (JB-110b) with the Novatel EX720 Express Modem using the Novatel XCA PCMCIA to Express adapter.

I did flash the firmware in the Junxion Box with 1.6.04 first.

Of course, the EX720 works right out of the box with my MacBook Pro 15" under OSX 10.4.11.

So far, I am very pleased.

Thanks for the post, glad that all is working and it was nice meeting you.

Just a heads up for anyone reading. The EX720 works "out of the box" because we pre-activate (upgrade firmware & prl) before sticking it in your MacBook Pro.
