My Kyocera KR1 (that I bought from you fine folks way back) reboots on occasion -- with the old 006 and the latest 011 firmware -- with my PCS5740 card on Verizon Wireless. Sometimes it will fail to reconnect and just stays with lights lit and a red status light. I upgraded to the latest firmware in hopes of eradicating this problem but it's pretty much the same cycling.
Other times, just the WAN link drops, or rather the IP addresses all show 0.0.0.0 but I have great signal strength. The log says "daemon.info pppd[xxxx]: LCP terminated by peer" in that case. A manual reconnect attempt from the Status page will usually fail.
I use a Mac laptop over wi-fi. I plug in direct Ethernet and it /seems/ to improve matters but I'm not sure of that.
Can someone explain what is going on here and what I can do about it? It's kicking my butt right now.
