I've got Leopard and the latest Parallels

Just signed up for Verizon broadband and got a USB727.

I installed it per spec and it works fine in OS X.

How do I get my Parallels VM to see it?

The instructions I've found here work for Tiger (10.4) but not Leopard (10.5).

Any ideas?

Thanks

It turns out that when I looked in the Parallels menu for Settings -> Network Connections (from memory, I hope that's correct!), neither of the last two options was checked: Shared Networking and whatever the other one is.

I selected the "Shared Networking" option and it became checked. Then launched the VM and viola! It could see the internet again through the USB727. I'm not sure why the internet has worked without that checked, but it has.

The only thing I find odd is that the USB727 device consistently shows a faster upload rate than download rate. Although this may be inaccurate, because when the average DL rate is around 100kbps-300kbps, the UL rate averages 50-75kbps except at the very end where it shows a huge spike that I think skews the results and leaves them above the DL rate.
