EVDO Maps website is soooo slow

I travel around the country in a Recreational Vehicle and try to create a new EVDO Map entry at each place where I stop. The website is so slow that it is becoming discouraging to go there and make new entries. Panning and zooming the map is the worst.

of course, if you are showing all records (972 entries at time of this post), then yeah its going to struggle.

three suggestions....

first, bookmark this link to allow you to go straight to a new entry submission form:

http://www.evdoforums.com/evdo.php

second, start from a bookmark that loads only certain records. here are a few suggestions:

http://evdomaps.com/Most+Recent+Entries (only shows latest 50)

http://evdomaps.com/Fastest+Downloads (shows 100 entries)

http://evdomaps.com/TX (or any other 2-letter state abbreviation)

third, did you know you can bring back just your entries and even pass them around as a link?

In all your entries, add some unique text that only you are likely to ever use in notes. I use 'EVDOalex' and that allows me to do this:
