Sprint EVDO Network -- Port 443 / SSL Connection Issues

3Gstore.com's tech support team has received several calls today from customers who are unable to login to several different web-based email providers such as Yahoo, GMail, and Hotmail when using SSL (https) secure login, which uses port 443.

We suspect that this may be a network issue with Sprint blocking port 443. We are unsure of the cause at this time, if you are experiencing the same issue, we recommend that you contact Sprint directly (800-Sprint1) to report the issue.

If you are experiencing this problem, it may be location specific, so please be sure for customers to include in their post:

- card they have
- Sprint Connection Manager Version
- ByteMobile On or Off
- zip code
- HA (if they changed / know how to get). If they don't know their HA, they should post the IP Address they were assigned (which we can determine the HA).
