Yesterday, I somehow bricked my still-under-warranty KR1. Quick call to the 3G Store (where I bought it, of course) for some help and they confirmed that it was indeed bricked.
3G Store contacted Kyocera customer service and entered a warranty claim. Roughly three hours later Kyocera calls me to confirm shipping address and provide instructions for return. Today, a brand new KR1 is at my door (with the latest firmware installed) and I'm up and running again.
Awesome customer service from both 3G Store and Kyocera!
Oh, and a few months ago when I called 3G Store for some advice, they wisely recommended I back up my KR1 config file in case something ever went wrong. Boy did that come in handy today!
