Sierra 585U (GPS enabled) with GPS Software

Hello,

I'm new to the forum, and I'm not really sure on how to speak in technical terms, so I hope laymen terms are good enough for you. I have acquired a Sierra 595U aircard from Sprint and I would like real tiem tracking information. The aircard (to the best of my knowledge) comes with a GPS. This feature seemed true when I just tried to see where the nearest restaurant was and it found my location with Windows Live Services. However, now, I would like to buy some GPS software that allows for real time tracking. I've been looking into Microsoft Streets and Trips as a good piece of software, but I do not know if it will work for me or my card.

at one time my 595U GPS worked, it picked up satallites and produced valid data. you can go to:

tools->setting->gps

and click on the test GPS and see if you get anything, mine hasn't worked for a couple of months, just hangs there with a windows hourglass.

Are you talking about the Sprint Connection Manager or the Microsoft Streets and Trips Very Happy
