Slow speed tests with USB720 on Intel Macs??

I recently started getting slow download speed tests with the USB720 on our Intel Macs. The speeds range from 100-250k down. Upload speeds are just fine. I get normal speeds in both directions using the same cards with PC's.

We use XP Pro on the PC's and OS X 10.4.10 on the Macs. No Leopard or Vista.

I have not had a chance to try them on non-Intel Macs since those users are in the field.

In the past, I got similar speeds in both directions with both platforms. Is there anything obvious that might have happened?

I haven't had a chance to compare it with a KPC-650 or UM150 since my users with those cards aren't available at the moment. The KPC will, of course, get lower speeds, particularly up, but I wanted to see if they too showed a difference between PC's to Macs.

Browsing speeds feel normal, however, and the ping times aren't bad, running from 200-300.

I am usually using Speedtest.net, but have tried a variety of other sites with similar results.

Hmmm... well mine is about the same as on G4. Only last week did I finally make the move to Intel and speeds seem the same pre/post Intel.
