Any early info regarding macbook pro/leopard support for the new Verizon KPC680? We are upgrading our laptops to macbook pro from powerbooks and will need new verizon broadband cards. Our two-year contracts will be up shortly.
Cheers,
Don from Barrington, IL

Cheers, Don from Barrington, IL

we will know more for sure, when we receive an actual KPC680 this week
there is a version 3.9.0 of verizon access manager for the kpc680.

we can help you with upgrade to expresscards, but suggest you keep in mind two things:

1) the KPC680 adapter cables are not likely to be available until end of december

2) 3gstore has the V740 on sale for just $69.99 on a new 2yr contract, and that price includes free booster antenna (while limited suplies last).

Thanks Alex!

Verizon is offering the 680 free if we re-up for another two years. Our contracts expire this month.

Hmmm... Our price for the KPC680 is just $19.99 after rebate...

Is $19.99 too much to pay for superior customer and tech support from EVDO Experts who actually use Mac OSX?

Wink
