|

| I just got the Verizon 595U USB modem (before doing my homework). I have seen a good deal of problems and incompatibilities with this modem (due to the battery). I recently ordered the CradlePoint router (from the 3g store) (that works with both 595 and 720/727. Do you think I should swap this out now or just keep it? I have two weeks to swap this for another modem (i.e. 720 or 727). I want a card with a external antenna port (just in case I want to add one). I was getting good service in my house with just the card, but the signal could be better. When I get my router I am going to place it up in the attic in hopes it will get better reception and equal faster download speeds. All opinions are welcome! Thanks! |

| I have the 595U and am very satisfied with it (SF Bay Area). I have used it on Windows, Linux and through the Cradlepoint CTR-350. I never had any problems connecting. I was even able to connect in Pollock Pines, CA, while my friend's Cingular HSDPA card could not connect. |

| I have the 595U and am also very satisfied with it. Great speeds, superb connections at all times, and the built in GPS is simply great with Sprint/MSN software. |

I'm using the 595U and the CTR-350 with no problems at all.
I actually had quite a few problems using it 595U under Vista 64(all which I eventually resolved) but have had zero problems at all since I started using it with the CTR-350. |
