I'm very excited about the release of the MBR1200, but its difficult from the photos to tell if there are integral or external antennas. While the .11n is a HUGE step towards making the footprint of the router bigger, the ability to swap out antennas makes a quantum leap.

Speaking of the MBR1200, do you guys have an anticipated date of release? Are you accepting pre-sale orders??

The MBR1200 is a developmental project and it is not finalized yet. The specs are not finalized. I can promise you that when and if this actually does become a product, we will have a full review of it.

I keep looking at a Airport Extreme Base Station and admire the inclusion of a versatile USB port. I would like to see Cradlepoint create a router with dual USB ports, one of which could be configured for a NAS device. That would be a great option. Perhaps that is on the horizon.

we were at one time considering this for sale on 3gstore:

not sure if there is enough demand to warrant the decision.

hmm interesting device. I can see the demand increase as more folks desire a central location to store and share movies, photo's, Netflix, Hulu, etc and view on the HD screen as well as pc's. Easier access. Convergence. That should not be a tough addition for Cradlepoint to make.

providing the feature prolly isnt the bigger chore.
supporting it is prolly what keeps them from wanting to add it.

fyi. i believe that addonics device even has bittorrent client in it.
