Win Mob 6 and Rev. A EVDO

I could not see any recent discussion about this. From what I gather, Verizon Wireless now had EVDO Rev. A pretty much in all major metro areas. However, it appears that its Win Mob 6 that is at fault, and not ready for Rev. A...is that true?? I wonder if someone could please clarify, and maybe make it a sticky, as to the nature of this issue. Does anyone know if Microsoft is soon going to correct this problem?

The upcoming VZW XV6800 is said to be upgradable to Rev.A, but its anyone's guess as to when that upgrade will be available. Again, perhaps someone could clarify: will be up to VZW or to Microsoft as to the availability of Rev. A?

My attitude on this is: Get a phone that **can** be upgradable. (Samsung i760 is not) And leave it at that; I don't plan to use data heavily on the smartphone anyhow. When it happens, it happens!
