Loaded it up. Looks good so far. I bricked my router (was not plugged in all the way) and it took me a while to get it back up.

I will be able to tell on my trip tomorrow.

I know this is an OLD thread but I am about to upgrade equipment and still wanted to be able to do this. Is this possible with the MBR1000 or the MBR 1200. I wasnted to take advantage of the cash for clunkers program but hate to give this up.

get a MBR1000 and look at some of my past threads on ways to get at the GPS data. all you need is the MBR and a modem that supports GPS. you'll also be more future proof

There is no direct way of doing this. The closest things (unless you can convince Cradlepoint to allow USB to read the serial data from a stand-alone gps) is to get a wifi serial adapter and plug a GPS into it.
