KPC680 / KR1 troubles any ideas?

Hey everyone. Just looking for a few suggestions for some problems. We currently have alltel service with a KPC680 going via USB adapter to the KR1. Nothing else is really setup on the router. We then have a wireless extender in the middle of the building and a pc on the other end. We can get full signal to the kr1 and be connected. But about twice a week or more the router will drop the connection and will need to be power cycled. This is at my owners side buisness and I am the tech who is lucky enough to work on it Smile

. I see the KR2 is out now, is that a better match to go express with the KPC680 and hope for less problems? We have a Dell desktop with Vista on it using the internet. Alltel is sure its not their card and that its the router. any ideas?
