How are you connecting your pigtail to LMR400/LMR600 cable?

Im upgrading my cabling to either LMR400 or LMR600 and cant seem to find a FME female connector that will attach to my U720 pigtail that I bought through the 3gstore. Most cabling Ive seen comes with the N-connector which is as I understand it, pretty common. So my question to those that have succeeded in mating the modem pigtail to either LMR400 or LMR600 is how the heck did you do it?
