Hi everyone!
I've had Verizon for a month, paid my first bill, and still don't get to use it! I finally recieved my U132 adapter in the mail after finding out that I just have an express card slot.
I had to installl VZ Access to get the drivers for my card to be used by my U132. I found out that unlike the website said, VZ Access does detect the card through the U132 and it can activate it, turn it off, and attempt to connect. No need to create a manual connection (even though i did make one as well).
Will when trying to connect it will dial, verify the username and password, and connects to the remote computer. But after that point, it times out. "A connection to the remote computer cannot be established. . ." is what VZ Access says. It has great signal just won't connect.
Windows dialer says this:
| Quote: | Dialing...#777
Dialing attempt 1.
Dialing...
Connected to remote computer.
Verifying user name and password...
Unable to establish a connection.

I called Verizon and they told me to exchange the card at the store. I did and it still does the same thing!
What's wrong here? Can anyone help?
Thanks,
William |
