Posted: Thu Oct 04, 2007 6:01 pm Post subject: HP Compaq 6910p Changing to Sprint EVDO Rev A Card

I took out my Verizon Embedded card and placed in my Sprint 595u mini PCI Express card and the BIOS of my laptop stops with error 105 unsupported wwan device detected. Remove device and restart the computer. Why do they care if I have a non Verizon card? Is there a way around this? I even upgraded my BIOS to see if they changed it in the new version. Thanks for an insight.
