Any word on the status of the EVDO antenna from EVDOINFO?

Right now I'd settle for knowing what other cards have the same connection.

The manufacturer is sorting that out now and is working directly with Novatel. It should be resolved next week. They claim that Novatel uses one type of connector for their PC Cards. We shipped one to a customer and he claimed that it didn't fit. So, we are making 100% sure. Apparently, Novatel may be using a different connector on the V620.

Here is an update.

According to the antenna manuf, the Novatel v620 uses a non standard connector, they are in the process finding out what it is, so they can build an adapter cable.

More news posted here or http://Booster-Antenna.com as we get it.

Beware! These are generic antennas with bundled pigtail adapters! Not as advertised on site or like the orginal antenna that I got that didn't fit, but had a direct connect cable. I know this is custom manufacturing but its why I didn't go with the cheaper competitor.

It might be manufacturer stupidity. I worked at allegro medical and medical manufacturers are VERY STUPID!

Actually, the connector is new and the manufacturer doesn't make a single cable (yet). If you are not happy, you can return them.

BTW, we are evaluating using a connector that can be removed (like the one you got), since:

- it is easy to get a replacement
- you can get different adapters for different cards
- if you get an amplifier, you could (possible) use the antenna too
