All, I've been searching all around and I'm trying to figure how what's involved using a Samsung SCH-U740 as a tethered modem for a friend. From what I've read this can be done over Bluetooth or USB cable and some how there is a DUN connection that you activate. I'm hoping that someone has set this up before as I have been unable to locate a how-to guide either here or by Google searching. It's either this or have them buy a dedicated Sprint or Verizon Express Card. I did read a thread about Verizon requiring a $59.99/month fee for BroadBand access to use this as a modem and if that's the case then it looks like she would be as well off getting a dedicated card. Sorry, I'm a bit of an idiot on Verizon. I have AT&T voice and Sprint for data - I know these systems pretty well. I haven't ever been a Verizon customer myself. Thanks for any information!
