Hello,
Does anyone have any experience with the WAAV AirBox CM3 or X2 routers?
No data card is needed the cellular interface is built in. With the X2 you have to purchase two (2) service contracts because the X2 makes 2 separate connections and supposedly "bonds" both connections so you get higher aggregate throughput speeds.
Just something I stumbled across while trippin' through the internet. There is only one obscure mention of the CM3 in an old post here, so I thought I would ask if anyone knows what the scoop on these routers is.
Gosh it would be cool to get 2 or 3 Mbps download speed with wireless broadband, if the X2 really works as advertised.........

i'm sitting next to an X2. solid piece of equipment.
however, in its current/production form, it does not aggregate/bond connections. it does load balancing across two active connections.
of course, lots of little bits of traffic moving through two lanes, is still way faster than through one lane! |
