After three months of scouring this and other websites, replacing the EX720, installing updates, hacking the Windows registry and in general trying everything I read or could think of, I gave up on solving my frequent, annoying disconnects. The M90 and EX720 are simply incompatible.
I just purchased a Top Global MB6800 router and ExpressCard to PCCard adapter; the EX720 worked fine right off the bat!
However, this expensive workaround is not perfect as there are still occasional disconnects and does not solve the mobility issue; I'll keep waiting for Dell and Novatel to update their products. _________________ José |

I'm running 32 bit Windows XP. Perhaps using Linux -- or the Windows version of ipfw -- could help as the problem seems related to extra FIN/ACK packets that can be filtered out because Sprint doesn't like them (see this thread) but I just bit the proverbial bullet, and added WiFi coverage to my apartment in the process. _________________ José |
