I have a USB 720, on a MacBook Pro 17. The Verizon instruction book says to install Verizon Access Manager, activate the USB 720 and then uninstall Access Manager. It further says to connect with the modem and built-in Mac software.

Is anyone doing this, or are you using Verizon Access Manager to Connect?

I couldn not get the USB 720 to connect on its own. Maybe I don't know the proper settings.

I would appreciate any input.

Thanks

There have been problems with VZAccess Manager and Apple's WWAN drivers for some time, see:

I am using a usb 720 and a macbook pro 17 inch. First activate it on verizon software. Then uninstall the software. Then use the wann from mac. In order to update the prl you need to hold down the option key over the wann and you will see activate. You need to do this once in a while to keep up to date. It works great on my computer.
