Will i730 take Verizon EVDO Rev. A speeds?

Hi there,

My first post over at these forums. I have a Samsung i730 on the Verizon (bleh) network, it's old now, but still the best phone out there IMO.

Wondering if one of you knowledgeable folks knew if the i730 would take Rev. A speeds, I think I read somewhere that it wouldn't, but I figured this would be the place to find out for sure.

Also, Sprint has the i830 if I'm correct, would it be possible to set up this phone on their network? The two phones are identical except for wifi vs. GSM or whatever it's called. Maybe there is a software or "legality" issue though. Let me know, thanks!

There are currently NO phones of any kind with Rev A capability.

There is no way to use a GSM device on a CDMA network or visa versa. There are new models that have both built into them (the BB 8830 World phone for example) but that's the only way.
