|
|
Hello
I have a utility that will allows users to install an application with an administrator account. We r planning to distribute this cd with VZAccess manager to staff in the field who do not connect to our network. My problem is that the VZAccess Manager software does not allow the client to connect to the National BroadBand. After running the wizard, it sees the device (BlackBerry8703e)but the National BRoadBand never pops up. If an administrator logs on and runs the wizard it will connect to National BroadBand and then when the client logs after the admin, they can connect to National BroadBand.
Can anybody help me with maybe a workaround this issue. |

| Strange. What user ID is the Access Manager software running under when the non-admin user launches it? |

You would need to figure out what the process names are of all the processes that the software uses then look in Task Manager to see what user name they are using. I am wondering if one or more process is trying to use the admin user ID and not having access to it.

| Guessing: is the VAM only for broadband cards? If so, using a Blackberry won't work. |

| When I looked in the task manager I dont see anything next to the process but I can only assume it is the account that it is installed with. Which a local admin account on the machine. |

| NO, this is for BlackBerry and EVDO Cards. The software works. Its just the admin has to connect first. Then the user can log on and connect. |
