Hi Alex. This would be a perfect sticky for newbies. As great as this forum is I can see that it might be a tad overwhelming for a real newbie. Since it appears this technology is catching on now beyond just us tech and gadget junkies we'll probably be seeing more and more folks who really have no clue and need the basics easily within their reach. Just an idea . . . . . . . Smile

Of course after I posted this I found EVDO info.com lol

I'm a Mobile DJ and found the idea for live cam streaming Wedding Receptions for people that could not be there in person on a DJ forum. They linked to camstream.com and there is a trucker on there using EVDO to send a live cam and audio 24/7 of his life from the truck. Googled what he was using and found you.

The overall plan is to have live cam, audio and chat from a Reception or party. Perhaps even two way cams, audio and chat. If a venue has wireless, no problem, but what if they don't? Perhaps EVDO is the answer. From looking at the maps on here, I'm not sure what my coverage may be. I'll check the local Sprint and Verizon stores.

Thanks bunches folks.
