Ok I totally hope this is going to the right place, given that the 3gstore hosts this.... Anyway, my voice plan is through T-Mobile while my internet is through Sprint. I did that because T-Mobile only offered the slow internet, not the lovely faster stuff. Well finally, after acquiring a CRAP load of licenses in the FCC auction that happened at the end of 2006, I have learned from the Level 2 Tech support that the testing in New York area was successful for full 3G and they have already upgraded most of their towers to support the faster internet network and is planning on going live with it in January to offer significant internet boost. What is nice is that I still have my internet plan with T-Mobile on my phone as a back up when I can''t dial up on Sprint (Which happens a lot in Wyoming and some other states), and they say that the unlimited plan for 3G internet will be the same cost as the current unlimited internet offering. Given the MASSIVE increase that I have seen over the last 6 months with T-Mobile coverage where I was usually on a roaming partner (free of cost) I can only hope that they are doing the same with the 3G and it will mean some serious upgrade in Internet coverage when traveling. Given that I see approx 44 of the 48 continental states every month, this will help a lot. Here is a link about the initial purchase for the expansion. Don''t have it confirmed yet online about the launch date, but the tech was a computer 'junkie' so to speak like me and he was so excited that the live date had come out that he had to share.

I hope it was ok to share it here. I was excited when I found out about this. I don't work for them, don't worry, this is all I know, all I found, etc etc just wanting to share is all. I am still learning about high speed with Cell coverage vs home network such as DSL, Cable and T-1.
So there it is. Enjoy. |
