| Browsing EVDO right now on my i730 in Denver and Parker, CO this morning. ~500k/sec throughput, so no mistake. |

...because I was business traveling in Denver the 11th-12th and it definitely wasn't working at that time...could only get National Access, not BroadBandAccess...
..and I was in the Denver Tech Center... |

...I've got a letter here that Verizon sent a few weeks ago telling me with detailed instructions how to download some software upgrade otherwise my Verizon BroadBandAccess Manager wouldn't recognize the new cities...
..what does PRL stand for anyways? |

Thanks for the heads up about Denver!
I just verified that I am connecting to Broadband in downtown Denver. The performance was not up to snuff at 220 down and 100 up using dslreports.com but I am guessing they are still working on the network. I did drop out of Broadband a couple of times to National and I have 4 bars green, which is confusing, but once again indicates the network is in transition to me.
This is very encouraging. I'm guessing Denver will be 100% soon and that will rock. Verizon's investment in this technology is encouraging. After 9 years with AT&T I think I will move my phone to Verizon too when the contract is up. Cingular has ruined AT&T customer service, so there is no reason to stick with them. Might as well go with the technology leader.
As far as PRL updates, my client always automatically tells me there are updates, which is nice. If your client is not doing this you may want to reinstall or update with the latest client from Verizon. My orinigal client did not do this...when I had to reinstall my hard disk I used the client from the web site and it is better than what I had. Even has a slightly different look to it. _________________ Victor |
