I'm currently using the V640 in my MacBook Pro. (got it here! Very Happy )

Now that there are Rev A cards, I want to upgrade. But... I'm not sure whether to get the V740, or to go U720 instead. The USB would be more versatile because I could use it with whatever computer I happen to be carrying (I have several). But... if there's a significant performance benefit to using the ExpressCard slot, then I'll stick with that.

Any recommendations?

Thanks,
Peter

No significant difference has been found between the devices. Just a form factor decision. Good luck.

i believe there was a skit on SNL where some guy used to bemoan some defect in his life, and then say:
"wrote a song about it, wanna hear it? here it go".

along those lines:

heard that question many times,
so i wrote an article about it.
wanna read it? here you go:

Which is Faster? EVDO ExpressCard, USB, or PC Card?
