Hello Everyone,
For some reason, i can't get it to work. I get the message saying that there is no GPS satellites available. I have it on automatic in the connection manager. I also went to the program files to start it there, and when i started it, and signed back on the connection manager, the GPS automatically stopped? Can anyone help?
Thank You in advance.

Starting with the basics...does your U720 have a clear view of the sky when you start the GPS service?

With the latest update, there is no need for the lists of steps others have offered for using Streets and Trips, etc. They will use the GPS in the 720, at least for the time being according to a little dialog. Sprint probably plans to charge for the location services and how this will affect the direct connect to the GPS by mapping applications is unknown to me.

Mode has to be set to automatic and not EVDO.

I found that it would not work on battery only, perhaps because of a low battery power level.

You do need to update to the latest connection manager and do a firmware update. This will occur automatically if you use the automatic update feature.

Also check all of your preferences as these can get changed with an update.
