| Do you all know if the U727 still has an internal mini-PCI card as discussed in this thread? In searching, I could not find much information. |

judging from skinny width of that pic, i doubt its using same internal card.
usb jack is under 1/2" wide. so that thing is barely an 1"?

| Can't wait for that! The built-in 64mb flash drive and small size will make it a big winner! Hopefully Verizon will carry it. |

We have a few threads setup on this topic - but unfortunately we don't have one in hand yet to test with the routers.
We are expecting our first shipment of U727 on Monday (10/1) and we will do our testing on routers, antennas, etc.
Stay tuned. _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier |

As I posted elsewhere, I held my U720 against the picture above and it is considerably smaller than the U727!
So what's all the hubub about size, anyway? |

| Wouldn't it be great if Verizon shipped the U727 with a microSD that had VZ Access Manager on it? |

They won't. They will sell 1GB, 2GB and 4GB MicroSDs.
However, your idea is good one and we may look into doing just that! _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier |

What kind of mac compatibility does this new modem have? Does it have a Mac OS X native connection manager like the Franklin?

Even better. there is a new version 3.7.0 of verizon access manager.
there *may* even be native OSX drivers...
we'll know once we receive a u727/usb727 and test it out in the 3gstore lab |
