After careful testing with the AC-595 on Verizon Service, we have found that the MB6000 and the NEW MB6800 has issues working with this card.

(important note: the issue does not appear to involve any Sprint AirCard 595's. just Verizon)

We have found that the firmware has nothing to do with this, however it is DEFINITELY something with the card that is keeping the router from reading signal, and allowing for it to make a connection.

We are working on this issue with Sierra Wireless, hoping to find more information that is causing this issue.

Please respond to this thread if you have an AC-595 on Verizon that IS or is NOT working with your Top Global MB6000 or MB6800.

Please list your FSN: (Equivalent to a serial Number) as well as the version of firmware you have on your data card and the router. We are hoping to be able to provide Sierra Wireless with a range of serial #'s to Isolate this issue.

WE DO NOT WANT/NEED YOUR ESN OR HEX CODE!!! JUST FSN:

Example:

Working FSN: X272946219410
Top Global MB6000 with 1.1.2-5
Date you Purchased AC-595:

Victor,

my MB6800 with Verizon AC595 seems to work just fine. Both purchased 4 weeks ago. The MB6800 from 3G and the AC595 direct from Verizon on my corp account (we have about 100 AC595 cards). Latest firmware on both. I don't have the FSN number handy, since the unit is now installed in my motorhome and I'm at the office. Before installing the MB6800 in my motorhome, I tested it at work and at home with my AC595 and everything seemed to work fine. The only issue I noticed was slightly slower speed test results with the AC595 in the MB6800 vs with the AC595 directly in my laptops.

If you really need my FSN #, I'll get it this week end.

Jim

Yeah... I have a MB6000 with Verizon AC595 and it's working great. I don't have any problems at all. Where do I find the FSN?

I purchased an MB6800 from the 3G Store and did a 30-day trial with a Verizon AC595 which was purchased on 6/20. The router had 112-5 firmware. I don't have FSN number since I already returned the AC595 to Verizon (but I did load the latest firmware). I was testing in a very fringe area. The card seemed to work fine, but only was able to get National Access (typical speed was 120 kbs down and 80 kps up). Was also using an external Wilson trucker antenna with a Wilson SOHO amp/repeater with a Wilson internal antenna. Hope this helps.

A BIG THANK YOU to everyone that replied with their intel and am happy to say that the issue has been discovered, duplicated and resolved right here at 3Gstore.com Technical Department. Laughing

For the people that have working cards and routers, Excellent Keep working out the networks, they could always use a little more testing, lol

For the people that find this post and have an Aircard 595 from Verizon and just purchased a router (MB6000 or MB6800) and happen to not be able to get it to work....

Be sure to order your products from The EVDO Experts here, because we will make certain this does not happen to you!!!

People looking at ordering a MB6000 or MB6800 and using a AC-595 on Verizon (that did not activate it with 3GStore.com, is truly taking a gamble as I have discovered today!!!
