I just got the 5220 for my powerbook and it is great! Speeds are a bit slower than I expected, but quite zippy and RELIABLE.

I am a believer.

Marvin,

Please post the speeds that you are getting, including:

- card type
- if you are using the external booster antenna
- number of bars/signal strength
- computer type

Greetings,

I have a MAC 1.67 running OS X.3.8
I am using the 5220 Card
I am not using a booster ant.
I am seeing consistent speeds with 2 bars at 325-360
I am seing consistent speeds with 4 bars at 500-750

I have used it everywhere from in malls while the wife is shopping to restaurants to driving down the road at 70 miles per hour.
