Download new connection manager.
http://www.evdoforums.com/thread5300.html
That will let you see your device.
If it won't let you connect, gives you error and disconnect as soon you connect. Change to NDIS mode. For some reason my XP alienware laptop gives me this problem but my Vista Asus is fine...
hope it helps/fixes it
cheers |

you could always give System Restore a shot.. choose a restore point before the date it stopped working.
Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore
you can also reverse the restore if it doesnt fix it. |

I'm having the same problem as the orginal poster, djxadulesentz. The only difference is that I have Vista not XP. Do all the suggestions from this topic apply to Vista or is there something else I should try?

This has driven me totally nuts. I have a Verizon USB720 and a Mac (10.4). A number of months ago I started to have problems with my USB720 and eventually the VZAccess Manager would no longer recognize it (during its illness but prior to it's conking out completely I'd have to try various forms of juggling, rebooting, etc. to get it to work).
Verizon sent me a new one but now within a few months of receiving it the same thing happened. Infuriating. I'm about to call Verizon now but am wondering if the second one I received was remanufactured, if there's something amiss with my USB port (seems to work fine otherwise) or if there are problems with the USB720 itself.
If anyone else has experienced this I'd love to know about it. |
