Some time ago, Verizon used to offer NationalAccess Megabyte plans. There were $39.99/month for 20mb and $59.99 for 40mb of monthly data use and then $0001 per kilobyte after that. These are no longer listed at Verizon web site and we do not list them on our web site.

Had a customer who really wanted this plan (to try out) and was planning on upgrading later. After a few calls to Verizon, they indeed, said, it was available to order. So, he bought the $39.99 Megabyte plan. He got his Kyocera KPC650 card and was having problems activating the card - it wouldn't activate.

He called Verizon. The technician said, "You can no longer activate cards on the Megabyte plan". He got transferred to Verizon Sales and they proceeded to upgrade him to one of the unlimited plans.

Moral of the story. Don't ask and don't order one of the Megabyte plans - they are no longer available. If you find a place that WILL sell it to you. You will have problems activating your card and have to upgrade anyways. Second moral of the story - Verizon Sales & Marketing needs to communicate with Verizon Tech Support, so each other knows what they can and cannot do.

So, get either the NationalAccess Unlimited or BroadbandAccess Unlimited plans, plus they are a fixed monthly cost and taxes are .05.
