What make/model laptops are they? Dell Inspiron 6000 by any chance? You might want to check out the forum below to see if your make/model laptop is listed (and if not, list it there).

Besides the lack of an external antenna port, are there any significant perforance differences between the 5740 and the 5220, especially regarding broadband? Thanks.
