Verizon has demonstrated there Mobile Cell Site for Disaster Response. Basically, a $500, 000 truck with is a complete Cell Site on Wheels. In case of disaster, this truck can wheel into town and take over, it has a power generator, communication equipment, masts and can handles thousands of calls.
