Using the S720 (on Sprint) on Kubuntu 7, and have a couple of things going on that I need some help with.

First, I copied the files posted by CodeFox in thread 3308, and I get the connection just fine. However, sometimes the script will just exit and not automatically reconnect. Usually this happens when I drive out of range and then into range of another tower. Is there some way to modify this script so it will keep trying to reconnect unless I manually exit it?

Second, I also use a USB-connected GPS. In order to connect to the internet, I have to unplug the GPS, connect, and then plug the GPS in. Otherwise, about half the time I can't get a connection at all. I suspect it has to do with device numbers being allocated out of sequence -- is there some way to manually control which device gets what device number?

Thanks,
Earl
