I am a newbie with a router. The user guide is useless. I don't understand anything about a router and could really use some help. I would have appreciated a more thorough user guide. I would like to know how my connection is, but now that my card is in the router, I cannot check my connection speed. Is there some way to check that? I am very frustrated after spending so much money on this router, amplifier, etc. etc.....

No router will provide a speed test, instead use one of the many independent websites that measure your speed, here is one we like:

I am a new user of a router and I feel like the user guide that accompanied the router does not explain fully how to set up my network. I will call you. Thank you.

Anita,

The printed guide in the box is just a short quick start guide. The more detailed user guide is on the Top Global CD as an 80 page PDF file.
