Well, my CTR350 arrived today, plugged in my Telus 595U, hooked my laptop up to the cable port on the router and I am surfing the net.
So out of the box it works fine with the 2.1.0 firmware |

At my home office I am getting 2mb/s down and 400k/s up as per the speakasy speedtest. (sanfran site), typically I'll get 2.4mb/s down and 700k/s up so it's not far off the mark.
In Downtown Vancouver, I typically average about 700-800k/s down and 50-150k/s up. |

| I ordered from seller Cellguru on Ebay as I didn't yet know about EvdoForum's or the 3g store, if I was going to order another unit, I'd probably buy from 3gStore now assuming they ship to Canada which I don't know about. |

My two routers arrived today and I tested and I'm impressed. I now have one in my RV and Trailer. When I called CradlePoint they referred me to
Impactwireless.ca and I ordered both units arrived in under three days for 16.00 shipping. I'll be testing throughout the weekend and I'll update you all with my finding. |

I am very interested in this router. I am currently using 595u with my desktop PC, can multiple PCs get an internet connection with this router wirelessly or do they have to be joined with ethernet cable or something. I have never used a router before but would love to have all the PCs in the house on one connection.
Thanks |

If I understand correctly, the Kyocera KR2 router is compatible the Sierra AirCard 595u, according to this: kyocera-wireless.com/kr2-router/pdf/kr2_compatibility_matrix.pdf
Has anyone here tried it? |

And is the Cradlepoint MBR1000 also compatible with the 595u?
I notice in the review on this site that the KR2 is made by Cradlepoint and that the two routers are similar.
If it was you, would you prefer one over the other? |
