I'm running the latest software driver for the U720 and Vista. When the adapter connects, sometimes it doesn't pick up a default gateway at all. Sometimes, when it does work, it'll drop the gateway 5 minutes later. It does this even with all other network interfaces disabled. Is this a Sprint issue? I have full signal EVDO Rev A. The problem also exists in NDIS mode.
