If you are looking to use your EVDO Phone as a modem to your laptop, you might want to check with SmithMicro to see if your phone is supported.
SmithMicro is the same company that develops the VZAccess program for Verizon and they are probably the same company that is making the upcoming VZAccess for Mac program.
Has anyone used this product on their Mac or Windows laptop? _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier |

I used this program briefly as a control program for a cingular pc modem last winter in Tucson, AZ. I liked it rather well, but the Cingular service was very poor (couldn't stay connected) and I returned the card after only a day of trying to get service.
No complaints about the program, however, other than that I couldn't get my money back and it wouldn't work with the Verizon card (5220). Tec support was not particularly helpful or sympathetic with my situation. |
